Missable Trophies Guide (All 4)
Protect your completion run at the moments that matter. Reviewed September 6, 2026.
Missable overview
| Trophy | Window / requirement | Recovery after lockout |
|---|---|---|
| Mid Summer? | Opening Festival / flower crown | New save; NG+ skips it |
| No, You Still Can’t Win | Tutorial Tar Golem / minimum health | New save; NG+ skips it |
| Peter’s Perfect Parry | Nameless Captive / seven Perfect Guards | NG+ encounter |
| Bag Holder | Baghead / offer nothing | NG+ interaction |
1. Mid Summer?
- At the beginning, look for Marigold on the way to your first Shell.
- Talk to her and accept the flower crown.
- Check that the Festival trophy unlocked before continuing.
If missed: use another save slot and replay the opening. Keep your main campaign intact. The opening interaction is also documented by 100% Guides. Our Prologue walkthrough provides route images.
2. No, You Still Can’t Win
- Reach the tutorial Tar Golem with the goal of emptying its health bar, even though a loss normally advances the story.
- Take short attack openings. Guard normal blows when comfortable, use stagger openings for damage, and evade the unblockable jumping slam.
- Stay active: waiting indefinitely can end the encounter. Verify the trophy after reaching minimum health; the scripted outcome still follows.
Retry before failure: quit to the main menu while the fight is still active, then continue from before the Bone Gate. After the encounter has ended and saved, use a pre-fight backup or a new save. This reset is described in the current roadmap; combat context is covered by this Tar Golem guide.
3. Peter’s Perfect Parry
- Equip the Untarnished Seal before The Nameless Captive in Prisoner’s Domain.
- Reach phase two, then reduce unnecessary damage. The immediate rapid transition spin is not your target.
- Wait for the later seven-hit headspin. Perfect Guard the entire sequence, including the delayed last hit.
- If the boss staggers before the sequence finishes, that attempt does not qualify. Avoid building extra stagger with unrelated guards.
If an attempt fails: wait for another qualifying attack while the boss lives. If health is too low for safe practice, quit to the menu and reload before killing it. Once dead, the next opportunity is NG+. Compare the animation notes in Gamer.org’s dedicated guide with the roadmap’s reset advice. Sources describe the rhythm differently, so follow the animation rather than a fixed button cadence.
4. Bag Holder
Find Baghead at Desolate Peak, beyond the Bone Gates southwest of Gloomshade Grove Beacon.
- Talk until invited to sit with the nearby group, then sit.
- Speak again and answer Yes through his questions.
- When asked to bring something, do not hand over an item. If you picked up Special Moonshine, put it back before returning.
- Sit again, resume the conversation and accept the final confirmations to trigger the joke ending.
If missed: handing over an item can lock out this trophy for the cycle; retry in NG+. After the successful ending, reload to continue from the nearby Beacon. The item-return detail is corroborated by Nerd’s Chalk’s Baghead walkthrough; the location and missable classification follow PowerPyx.
Recovery, new saves and NG+
Use the overview table to choose your recovery route. A backup only helps if it predates the failed encounter or choice. Preserve the current save before restoring anything, and check your platform’s save-management options.
Beating the final boss leaves a cleanup window. Selecting Send Ova at Marrow Keep’s Ova Siphon begins NG+. Finish available objectives first; free roam does not undo an already failed one-time interaction. See PowerPyx’s ending instructions.
Frequently asked questions
Are there three or four missable trophies?
Four in the roadmap reviewed on September 6, 2026. Include Bag Holder in your checklist.
Should I delete my main save?
No. Use a separate slot for opening cleanup and retain your established campaign.
Does every headspin need to be guarded?
No. Peter’s Perfect Parry targets one complete qualifying seven-hit sequence with the required Seal.
Is this a firsthand tested route?
This is an original synthesis of the linked public guides, not a claim of in-game testing. The four-item classification follows the latest checked PowerPyx roadmap. Older guides may retain different counts or launch-era advice.
